The Handcrafted Clock and Gift Company is a family run business, situated in the heart of Lincolnshire. Taking all the experience from different family members, we started out by making and selling our own personally designed wooden clocks. From these humble beginnings we decided to blend all our energies in providing a thriving cottage business, which could sell a whole collection of handcrafted and unusual gifts for everyone to use and enjoy. Since starting our business in 2005 we have built a loyal customer base, whose returning visits have enabled us to increase the amount of lovely items we now are able to offer our discerning customers, both old and new! Of course, having a bank like HSBC to run our secure payment facilities means we can accept payment by MasterCard, Visa and Debit Cards. We do accept cheques, in the UK mainland only. Due to postage times and waiting for cheque clearance times, it is possible that your order could be delayed up to three weeks. We also believe in the old adage of “Excellent Customer Service” and we do try to uphold this philosophy in all areas of our business, from product to packaging. Most of our items are delivered within a matter of days after receipt of your order. However, we do state a 14 day delivery period (subject to availability) after receipt of your order to account for any unusual delays. If in the unlikely event items are out of stock then a 28 day delivery period may apply. We will only post our items 1st Class Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Each individual item has its weight, size, packaging, and Recorded delivery calculated in to its delivery charge. This is all worked out during your secure HSBC payment facility - so you will know exactly what your delivery charge will be before your order is processed. International Delivery We will deliver overseas. All packages will be sent using First Class Royal Mail Air Mail International Signed For Service. We reserve the right to alter any delivery charges should they be affected by any significant changes to the Royal Mail or to the change of services available. Your international postage charge will be worked out during your secure payment facility, so you will know exactly what your postage charge will be for your item/s before payments are taken. You have the right to cancel your order after it has been accepted by us, at any time up to the point of despatch. Any cancellations taken during this time will be refunded within 28 days. The Handcrafted Clock & Gift Company Guarantee for Refunds and Exchanges We will refund or replace all returns up to a period of seven days after you have received them. Please obtain proof of posting for your return. The goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition, in their original packaging and at your expense. Please ensure that any returns are packed and labelled carefully so that they are not lost in transit. Returned items - not signed for Royal Mail only hold unsigned-for items for seven days before returning them to the sender. If an item is not collected or signed for and therefore returned to us via Royal Mail please be aware there will be another postage charge to have the item resent. If the fault is due to manufacturing of an item, we will exchange or refund provided the item has been returned within seven days. We would appreciate immediate contact within 48hours after receipt of item, concerning any product fault and return of item. Any fault discovered after this time period cannot be the responsibility of The Handcrafted Clock and Gift Company. Delivery charges of item/s returned due to a manufacturing fault, including initial postage charges, will be refunded in full. The Handcrafted Clock & Gift Company Descriptions, Storage, and Copyright All of our items, with the exception of some items in Vintage Home and Garden, are new. We sell good quality items at a reasonable price. The picture you see is an actual picture of the item you wish to purchase. Sometimes we will hold sales or items will be marked as reduced due to minor shop damage (example, a scratch on a book cover). If an item is listed in this way it will be clearly marked as having defects and therefore is being sold to clear or will be marked as in perfect condition but in a seasonal sale. We do try to make sure that every specification of each product is written correctly, we also try to ensure that all photographs give a true and clear picture of each item. Although every effort is put in to providing a clear and representative colour picture of each item, we cannot be held responsible for the colour difference of individual computers used by our customers. Prices are correct at the time of insertion and we reserve the right to alter the price should VAT rates be changed, or if the suppliers increase their prices in the meantime. Please note, all prices are inclusive of VAT. We try to make every effort to describe our products correctly but mistakes do happen; if we have made an error please do contact us and we will do our best to rectify the situation.
